Properties Limerick: Letting Guide for Tenants:
Rental Procedure - Guide For Tenants
If you’re looking for a rental property, whether house or
apartment, let us help.
The first step
You can contact us by phone, e-mail or visiting our office. After
just a few short questions we will be able to quickly and efficiently
narrow down the rental properties that are suitable for you. We
will be more than happy to guide to through the process and answer
any questions you have.
Viewing
If there is a rental property you are interested in we will arrange
for you to view the property at a time that suits you.
Letting a property
If you wish to let a property we will require references from all
tenants moving, i.e. both previous landlord references and work
references.
If the reference is satisfactory we will further require;
- A security deposit (equal to one months rent)
- The first months rent in advance.
- Photo I.D. for all tenants.
- P.P.S. numbers of all tenants so the tenancy may be registered
with the PRTB (Private Residential Tenancy Board).
Utility bills
Utility bills will be transferred directly to your names.
Contract
All tenants must be present to sign up for the property. All tenants
must sign the contract, complete a PRTB form to register the tenancy,
transfer utility bills to your name and set up standing order to
pay rent directly to the landlord.
When all of the above has been successfully completed you will
receive the keys to the property.
For more information contact us by phone on 061-310022 or submit your query via our contact form.
